The Mill on the Wall, also known as the Herdentorswallmühle or Beck's Mühle, is a historic windmill in the ramparts of Bremen. Originally built in 1699, it is the only one of the original six mills in the ramparts that has survived. The mill has been rebuilt several times, most recently in 1998, and now serves as a restaurant and café.The mill is located in a picturesque park and is a popular photo opportunity as well as a place to relax for locals and tourists. On the lower floors of the mill is the café "Beck's Mühle", where visitors can enjoy traditional North German dishes such as Labskaus and Knipp. The mill not only has historical value, but also a modern function. In addition to the restaurant operation, demonstration milling events are occasionally held to demonstrate the historical use of the mill.
