on the access path to the castle ruins there are some information boards which describe the condition of the castle at that time. According to these descriptions, reliable literature no longer exists and attempts are made to offer a reconstruction as good as possible. The castle is located as a model on the palace square in Ballenstedt. Definitely worth seeing ! there is also a special stamp of the Harz hiking pin (castles and palaces).
