House of Yemanja
The weight house was used for weighing and selling the fish that began in 1919 and it was in this place that in 1923, the gift of the mother of water was born, as it was called by the local fishermen when a group of 25 fishermen decided to offer gifts to the mother of the waters, starting the tradition of the party in honor of Iemanjá.
From 1924 onwards, the Little Fisherman's House became a sacred place for Candomblé fans.
