The statue of Jorge Amado and Zelia Gattai shows Salvador's most distinguished citizen. The writer and his wife are immortalized in a bronze sculpture with their pet dog, right in front of the Church of Santana in the Rio Vermelho neighborhood, where the couple lived most of their lives. A tribute offered to the city by the residents of the neighborhood.

A beautiful tribute to Jorge Amado and Zélia Gattai. Place with good bars to drink delicious beer at night. Good live music.
