The Hall of Fame was built in 1843-1853 by Leo von Klenze on behalf of King Ludwig I. The three-wing columned hall is lined with busts of important Bavarians from the last centuries - including the stone heads of the writer Ludwig Thoma, the composer Carl Orff, the painter Albrecht Dürer or the brewer Joseph Pschorr.

The Hall of Fame is a memorial on Theresienwiese in the Bavarian capital Munich. It was built between 1843 and 1853 by King Ludwig I of Bavaria by the architect Leo von Klenze. Ancient altar buildings served as the design model for the classicist architectural monument, which is dedicated to important figures in Bavarian history. It forms an ensemble with Bavaria.
