Simple landscaped and very popular green area with plenty of space for all kinds of activities and some quieter corners. The main attraction is the large beer garden and once a year in July the Magdalenenfest. Some say that the Hirschgarten is the largest beer garden not only in Bavaria but in the world. The latter is not occupied, but 8,000 seats are an impressive number.

Founded in 1720 as a pheasantry, later expanded to the game park as a noble hunting ground, of which the game enclosure at the beer garden still testifies today.
