Tips
A beautiful, well-kept garden area, which is worth a small detour. Pilgrims on the Cologne/Trier pilgrimage route get a stamp here. You can stay and eat in the Maria Rast house, but both only by prior arrangement. There is also a small art and bookshop where you can buy cards, candles and books, for example.

We hiked along the Römerkanalwanderweg to Maria Rast. We were in this beautiful area for the first time but certainly not for the last time. There are many opportunities to hike beautiful circular routes.
