The 1.5 km long path begins above the show enclosure in Hütscheroda, the so-called wildcat clearing, and initially winds through a younger forest with individual old beech trees. This is followed by a varied section with gnarled old oaks, imposing trees and dead wood. You can get a deep insight into the structure of the forest, and with luck catch a glimpse of forest inhabitants. Climbing elements along the way invite young and old to try out their climbing skills. After half an hour you come back to the meadow behind the wildcat clearing, where benches invite you to relax. A fireplace with grill and benches can be used on request. The path is barrier-free and therefore suitable for prams and active wheelchair users (with accompaniment). Symbol / path marking: wildcat tracks / length: 1.5 km / degree of difficulty: easy (gradient between wildcat barn and wildcat clearing, the starting point of the path)

The 7km long Wildcat Trail circular hiking trail connects directly to the Wildcat Glade. Here the visitor roams through a real wild cat territory.
