Playa Ramírez is located in the Parque Rodó district and the name comes from one of the first property owners in the area. The water here is very calm and you can sometimes go up to 50 meters into the water without it getting deep.

This beach is one of the most beautiful in Montevideo to watch the sunset, as the sun can be seen here until the last moment.

In its surroundings you will find Parque Rodó, the Teatro de Verano (summer stage) and a small amusement park. In addition, the promenade bordering the beach is popular with fishermen.
