In the middle of the Hunsrück lies the Erbeskopf (816 m above sea level) as the highest elevation on the left bank of the Rhine in Germany. The holiday region around the Erbeskopf is undoubtedly one of the most attractive low mountain ranges for hikers, mountain bikers and nature lovers in the middle of the Saar-Hunsrück Nature Park and right next to the Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park.
