There are only a few communities in Hesse that have such a picturesque, idyllic village pond with an island, duck house and water fountain as the center of the village. Rudd, carp and eels are said to live in the water. There are numerous benches around the pond where you can take a seat and unwind. A very beautiful and well-maintained complex that is worth a visit.
Directly adjacent to it is a barn gable wall, which is decorated with various large photo motifs of poppy blossoms.
