Neoclassical monument to Adam Mickiewicz located on Krakowskie Przedmieście in Warsaw. The monument designed by Cyprian Godebski was unveiled on the centenary of the poet's birth on December 24, 1898. The 4.5-meter-high statue was cast in Italy. The column and pedestal of the monument were made of granite from quarries in Baveno in Piedmont.
