Belweder or Pałac Belwederski is a classicist building built in 1819-1822. In the years 1918-1922, the headquarters of the State Chief, in the years 1922-1926 and 1989-1993, the seat of the President of the Republic of Poland. Formerly a model for many palaces built by Polish noble families.

Considering the popularity of columnists in contemporary houses, this role is rather still valid.

Belweder / Palace Belwederski or Belweder Palace, is a palace in Warsaw, build in 1819-1822. The President of the Republic of Poland resides at Belweder. After the re-establishment of Poland, it was the residence of Marshal Józef Piłsudski, Chief of State (1918-22) and later Minister of Military Affairs of Poland.

Belweder is a classicist palace in Warsaw at 54/56 Belwederska Street. It was built in the years 1819–1822 according to the design of Jakub Kubicki on the site of an earlier baroque building. It was the seat of the Chief of State, the presidents of the Republic of Poland and the chairmen of the Council of State.

The history of Belweder dates back to the 16th century, when Queen Bona's villa was located here. In the 18th century, the Royal Farfur Factory operated here. In the 19th century, it was the residence of Grand Duke Konstanty. During the November Uprising, it became the target of an attack by insurgents. After 1918, it served Józef Piłsudski and the presidents of the Second Polish Republic. During the occupation, it was the residence of Hans Frank. After 1945, it served as a representative building for the authorities of the Polish People's Republic, and in the years 1989–1993 it was the seat of the President of the Republic of Poland. Currently, it serves as a museum and a representative building.

Seat of the Polish President in the middle of the city. Impressive building and beautiful photo opportunity.
