With the "Conversio" project, Philipp Morlock has been artistically dealing with the topic of conversion in a sustainable way since 2013. His large sculpture was realized at Spinelli as part of BUGA 23 and was presented to the public for the first time on Thursday, February 16th. By using relics of military use, Morlock creates a direct link to Mannheim's history. The concrete implementation becomes a symbol for reconciliation. The project was realized in cooperation between culture, landscape architecture, building construction and civil engineering - funded by the Cultural Office of the City of Mannheim and BUGA 23.
