The Puente Transbordador "Nicolás Avellaneda" (also Transbordador del Riachuelo) is a transporter bridge that crosses the Riachuelo between Buenos Aires and Avellaneda. It is one of only eight world-wide floating ferries and the only one outside of Europe.

The only thing I will add to the excellent little article by Roland is be careful if you take a walk in this area. If you walk from the bridge to Puerto Madero along the river bank then it is a haven for little nasty violent thieves. There are police officers there to dissuade people from taking this route. Stay on the La Boca side of the bridge.
