The old trade route for grain, ore and timber, which led through Königsmühle, has become a hollow road that has sunk about three metres deep into the landscape due to centuries of heavy wagon traffic.

From this hill, marked by a cross near the Königsmühle, you have a very good view of both the Czech Klinovec (Keilberg) and the Fichtelberg. Incidentally, the latter is the highest Saxon elevation with its 1215m.

The former settlement Králův mlýn (King's Mill) is located near the road No. 223 in the valley of the river Černá voda below Hájský kopec (989 m). In the settlement, which once belonged to the larger village of Háj, 57 people lived in seven houses. The road from Háj to Králův mlýn is still decorated with knotty rowan and blueberries.

The access road from the village of Háj leads through a gorge about 1.5 km long. For centuries, a trade route ran here from Bohemia to Saxony, on which heavy horse-drawn carriages transported grain, flour, wood, ore and other goods. Over the years, heavy vehicles have pushed the road deeper and deeper into the ground, so that the ravine is now up to three meters deep in some places.
