Hiking
The Nepali Highway is a varied route over hill and dale, between the Furkapass and Realp. Stable hiking boots are a must, as you have to find your way between large granite blocks. Here, good grip is essential.
But why is this route called Nepali Highway? The route bears this name because it was a Nepalese hut-keeper of the Albert Home Lodge, who discovered this route. Moreover, it is probably the fastest connection between the Albert home hut and the Sidelenhütte, where actually only a few meters have to be managed.
