Formerly the church of the women's monastery of the Augustinians, which had already been dissolved in 1809. After 200 years as a magazine and museum, the church and parts of the monastery were renovated. The building now houses the information center of the Altmühltal Nature Park.

The former monastery church (1719), one of the most important baroque buildings in Eichstatt, was created according to the plans of the ingenious master builder Gabriel de Gabrieli. The impressive baroque dome with the ceiling painting by J. G. Bergmüller is an architectural highlight and is considered his sacred masterpiece in Eichstätt.
Today the Altmühltal Nature Park Information Center can be found in the beautiful building, next door is the Biotope Garden and the Garden of the Senses. In 2020 the exhibition "50 Years Altmühltal Nature Park" can be seen here.eichstaett.de/sehenswerte/klosterkirche_notre_dame_du_sa-1993
