Today from Möckenlohe we went spontaneously into the forest to discover the power place "Hoher Stein". Since there was no description or signage, komoot was allowed to do its best today. Wonderful ... we got the coveted highlight. Now our way continued ... but beware ⚠ something went wrong .. we turned right too late and were now allowed to trudge through slush nettle and very high grass. Well, I say "dirt never harmed anyone". We came back safely to Möckenlohe.

Gungolding is the starting point and we follow the panorama path towards Walting. Today, despite the wind, the warmth is palpable ... so we'd better stay in the forest. Here we go on winding paths. At Isenbrunn we come out and from here we go to Rieshofen to the Hungerturm. A unique hiking destination.

From Grösdorf to Schellenberg and then to Kinding. We followed path number 11. This path is well signposted. At the same time, the panorama path runs along here. If you come to the Schellenberg, you will even run along the Schellenbergrunde. It is an archaeological path. However, our goal was kinding. After a good break, we had to go home because rain was announced. So up the mountain (with a round stomach) and the same way back. We came out of the forest and the sky was already dark gray. We sat in the car with the first drops. That's what I call timing.

Starting Glockersteig, following loop 16 ... once wrong into the forest ... so out again. Art cave and part of the Hussarensteig. Forest educational trail to Kipfenberg. There was excellent ice in today's heat. The Arnsberger Leite back to Arnsberg and finally to Schambach.

The first section of our tour was new to me. We went the butterfly trail no.2 from Arnsberg. He led us far up. We felt that time would have stopped a long time ago. The path is no longer signposted up to a certain point (Stein / Böhming). We had several options, we decided to take the Limesweg. First we were allowed to take a long trail (surrounded by shoulder-high grass). Then came a romantic path of hornbeams and hedges overgrown at first glance. It turned out to be an adventurous 'Raetic Wall'. We walked on old, damp and slippery stones. However, I sweetened the way with delicious strawberries that I found. Past the Limes watchtower and to Kipfenberg. The east climb up the Michelsberg and the butterfly path No. 2 down, past the 'Zum Raben'.
A tick check is needed today.
