Location: Hoppegarten, Märkisch-Oderland, Brandenburg, Germany
Nice quiet park with imposing beautiful red beeches, open to the public and open 24 hours a day.
The Erpe, mentioned in the park section 'Neuenhagener Mühlenfiß', is a tributary of the Spree with a total length of 32 km in the federal state of Brandenburg and Berlin and flows through this park.
The park, which is now named after him, was laid out in 1821 according to plans by Peter Joseph Lenné.
Dahlwitz Castle is currently still in a construction phase and is therefore not open to the public.

Since the castle (manor house) was sold last year, no visible construction work has been carried out. Since it is private property, it will probably not be open to the public again. Lennepark has also seen better days. At least a few sponsored benches were set up again this year. The demolished bridge over the Erpe will probably not be reached again, so that the part of the park on the other side will become completely overgrown.
