Werre River Bike Path

Nice alternative if the main trail is too crowded.

The cycle path to the left (north) of the Werre is a sensible and beautiful alternative to the actual Else-Werre cycle path to the right (south) of the Werre. Here the path is usually less crowded and there is more sunshine. However, this path has two sticking points that you should know: to the west of this point, the narrow, bumpy, poorly maintained underpass under the bridge "Brückenstrasse."; to the east the even narrower, bumpy, confusing, partly overgrown passage behind the weekend huts. With oncoming traffic it gets tricky at both bottlenecks; so be careful!!!

First in the sun and then through changing zones. a lot on bike paths and country lanes. On the Werre with surprising leisure activities.
