I think the Else-Werre route is great. Idyllic places and wide views alternate.

The Werre can be seen very nicely in Bad Oeynhausen in the Kurpark before it flows into the Weser at the Weserkuss

A wonderful section on the Els-Werre cycle path. Here the Werre is relatively wide and deep because it is dammed up.
