The 374-meter-long steel truss bridge takes you from the Krems district of Stein across the Danube to Mautern. According to records, the crossing over the Danube was in use as early as 100 AD. A wooden bridge was built at this location in the 15th century, which was replaced by a steel structure in 1895.
