Built in 1926 Plessa power plant is a largely original preserved, today museum lignite power plant, which was in operation until 1992.
My photos show the power plant from a distance because it was on my hiking trail. A visit was not possible in time.

For structural reasons, tours of the Plessa power plant are no longer possible. However, it remains an impressive historical monument, closely linked to the history of Plessa. The power plant was shut down at the same time as the briquette factory in 1992, after almost 100 years of brown coal processing.
