A border police base was built on the site of the former village of Wenzelsdorf (Vaclav) in the 1980s, and the abandoned barracks site remains there to this day. It is falling into disrepair.

The towns of Wenzelsdorf (Václav) and Rappauf (Rabov) were razed to the ground after the end of the war because they were in the exclusion zone (they were simply too close to the border) and these barracks were built for this purpose. Since 1990 they have also been left to decay. We found it very interesting.
