Tips
The source is located on the south coast of Cornwall, above Porth Chapel beach. Water from the spring is sometimes used for baptisms. It used to be believed that the water cured toothache and eye diseases. Sleeping near the well increased the chance of healing. Given the small size of the pit, this was not very comfortable.
