The most westerly point of England offers a stunning scenery and a perfect spot for hikes, for instance along the heritage trail.

Land's End is the most further west that you can go in the south of the UK and as the name suggests is where the land ends. Its a well knows starting/ finishing point for cycling and hiking due to its geographical location.

A nice place where a lot of people are there food and drinks, a museum not to mention the souvenir shops in Rauhen quantities and a bit of hype. But of course a terrific landscape.

There are places where you can hardly miss a Cornwall holiday - even if you know that the place itself is not exceptional. Land's End is such a place. You can not get to Land's End, because the cliffs are particularly dramatic and breathtaking, or because the green rolling hills in the hinterland are particularly idyllic. You can not come here because you expect the best entertainment from the visitor center. Land's End is a symbolic place: the western end of the British mainland.
Already in the name something resonates that sounds like wanderlust. It is a turning point (for example, on a Cornwall tour), a waymarker, a starting or ending point. Who departs the south coast of England, has from the moment he drives in Dover from the ferry, Land's End in view and heading for it. If you are planning a tour through Cornwall, you will reach the mountain festival here and turn north. If you want to walk the South West Coast Path, take Land's End as your starting point or end point.
