Gaaltije is a Sami museum in the South Sami region. In the exhibitions, the museum tells about Sami history and describes their view of society and the situation of this group of people. Everything from a Sami perspective. The aim is to offer both permanent and temporary exhibitions with artistic, historical and social perspectives. Through its activities, the museum wants to make it clear that Sámi culture is the past, but also the present and certainly the future. Free admission.
