The "Old Smithy" in Seinsheim, along with its adjoining residence, was built around 1890. The complex, which is not a listed building, was renovated in 1969 and 1994. In July 1963, the village blacksmith from Strüth near Würzburg moved his workshop to Seinsheim and took over the local smithy below the fortified church. Today, the smithy is no longer in operation, but the inscription "Old Village Smithy" on the timber-framed wall still testifies to its former use.
