Also known as 'the wall', the wall of Geraardsbergen is a true icon in classic Flemish cycling history. It is a monumental climb that was long one of the decisive hills in the Tour of Flanders. The steep slope of about 1100 metres end at the 110 metre 'Oudenberg' summit where you are rewarded with panoramic views overlooking the surroundings. Whilst taking a breather at the top take a look inside that chapel where many cyclist make a prayer for godspeed along their ride.

"The Wall of Geraardsbergen"—who doesn't know it? It's a true classic in Flemish cycling. This iconic climb was a popular event in the Tour of Flanders for many years. A stretch of about 1100 meters takes you to the summit of the Oudenberg, at an altitude of 110 meters. From here, you have a magnificent view of the region and the famous chapel.
