The Arduinbos is a valuable nature reserve on the edge of the Flemish Ardennes, located in the Overboelare district of Geraardsbergen, on the border with Hainaut. The forest is part of the European Natura 2000 protected area "Forests of the Flemish Ardennes and other South Flemish forests" and is managed by Natuurpunt and the Agency for Nature and Forests. It is a typical deciduous forest with a dominant presence of beech trees and, together with the Boelarebos, the Hoge Buizemont, and the De Rietbeemd nature reserve, forms an ecological and landscape entity. The steep northwestern slopes and gently undulating southeastern flanks of the area are characteristic of the asymmetrical valley structure of this region.

The Arduinbos lies on the border of Geraardsbergen and the sub-municipality of Overboelare. It is part of the Buizemont complex, a group of two grassland areas with shrubs (Grote Buizemont and Kleine Buizemont) and three smaller forests (Boelarebos, Bourengbos, and Arduinbos). These three forests, like the Zoniënwoud, the Hallerbos, and the Kravaalbos, are believed to be remnants of the so-called Coal Forest. This forest once covered central Belgium.
