The history of the fire brigade in Alsleben dates back to around 1700. After a few major fires in the city, the "voluntary municipal fire brigade association" was founded in 1873. In 1932, the 21 m high hose tower with hose drying system and siren was inaugurated. In 1986, the Alsleben volunteer fire brigade received the title of "exemplary FF" from the district council.
