Fishing is permitted along the entire length of the shore, including the lock canal to Finkenwerder Vorhafen, with the exception of the protected areas and washing areas.
However, the permit only extends to fishing from the bank and standing in the water. Entering the shoreline in the nature reserve is prohibited. The protection routes are signposted. Fishing from the boat is not permitted.
