Wooden Sculpture with View of Corvey Abbey

Behind this beautiful sculpture are the foundations of Corvey's former market church.

I was absolutely delighted with this construction! The whole thing is based on such a simple construction method - just squared timber mounted crosswise on top of each other, but of different lengths, so that a three-dimensional space is created that also satisfies artistic demands. In addition, this window opening through which the castle and church of Corvey can be seen and what you don't get in the picture - an audio commentary on the story of Corvey is triggered via a motion detector, which is very well structured in terms of content and also comes across as fresh thanks to a dialogue recording.
