Yet another corker of a view on the Beara Way / Wild Atlantic Way. Best appreciated if you are travelling south to north, the vista opens out as you pass through the hill. Cute houses, the ocean, mountains. What is there not to love?

You'll be treated to one of the Beara Peninsula's most iconic views: the expansive view of Ballydonegan Bay. At the heart of the bay lies the unique white sands of Ballydonegan Beach, whose striking color comes from pulverized quartzite from the nearby Allihies copper mines. As you gaze out over the Atlantic Ocean, the picturesque, colorful houses of the village, nestled among the rugged peaks of the Miskish Mountains, are visible in the distance.
