The first 800m were really awful, the path was overgrown and so narrow that you could hardly walk. It got better after that, but overall the tour was exposed to too much sun. It was windy but the temperatures were too high. Cooling off in the dam was really good.

It was a beautiful tour with great views. The uphill route was mostly through shady forests. The downhill route was on the road because the official circular route was very rocky. I personally found the Picota tour more beautiful than the tour around the Foia. You could see as far as Portimao and Ferragudo.

The gorge is advertised so touristically that we finally did it. It was worth it, especially the boat tour across the various lakes (you could take your bikes on the boat). We could easily manage the bike tour through the gorge with our ebikes, personally I liked the tour through the Black valley better

The island of Møn is truly beautiful for cycling. Its diverse landscape and, of course, the chalk cliffs are a highlight; on the Baltic Sea Cycle Route, it's also referred to as a mountain stage.
