In addition to the lido, there are a number of other freely accessible bathing areas at Tegeler See. One that is easily accessible by bus is this one - across from Reiswerder. From the bus stop you walk about 3 minutes through the forest. Cycling

The ferry goes to the island between April and mid-October (€ 2 return). On Reiswerder there is a small and very fine beer garden with very good food and a very good own pale ale (wild boar) with hops from the island, which is only available here. An ideal stopover!
