The monument consists of three standing male figures and a kneeling mother with a child turned in four pages. Here, Petr Wittlich emphasizes the "psychic action process" that Švec was able to bring into the expression of the figure's plastic overall concept, and the composition of the monument refers to the sculptures of the pre-war Sturs on the pylons of the Hlávka Bridge.
