The Pine Cone is an ancient Roman statue that was once part of a fountain near the Pantheon. The courtyard is part of the Vatican Museums complex and is used to display various sculptures and works of art. The courtyard is also connected to the Vatican Apostolic Archives, where the historical documents of the Holy See are kept.
