Reudnitz - Kahmer -Greiz Mohlsdorf, auf Spuren der alten Bahnlinie Greiz - Neumark / Sachsen
Auf der Suche einer Wanderung im Raum Greiz bin auf diese Runde gekommen. Als ich auf die alte Bahnlinie gestoßen bin habe ich mich einmal schlau gemacht wo diese entlang verläuft. Hier bin ich auf ein Herzensprojekt der Greizer gestoßen. Der Umbau zum Radweg bis Mohlsdorf wird seit 13 Jahren * vorangetrieben * Endlich geht es los ( Baufreiheit wurde schon geschaffen ) im November soll der Abschnitt fertig sein. Wer schon mal von Greiz nach Mohlsdorf gefahren oder gelaufen ist muss wird dann den Weg oberhalb der Straße sehr schätzen. Von Mohlsdorf geht schon ein schöner Radweg nach Reudnitz. Von Reudnitz nach Gottesgrün auf der Nebenstraße trifft man auf die ausgeschilderte Strecke Radrouten im Landkreis Greiz. https://www.evergabe-online.de/tenderdetails.html?0&id=824764&cookieCheck

With clear skies and -1°C, the destination was the Pöhl Reservoir. I wanted to see how far it had frozen over. It's still half frozen, and I hope we'll see it soon enough. A lovely hike in this winter weather 😜

Finally completed this tour, and it only runs from Thursday to Sunday when the alpine hut is open. The return trip is a delight, almost entirely downhill for 70km (although there are still climbs). A look at the tower at the top of Aschberg (€1) is a must.
