Both emperors are seen as important figures in the spread of Christianity.

Charlemagne, or Charlemagne, was a famous Frankish king and the first emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. He was crowned in Old St. Peter's Basilica on Christmas Day in the year 800. He is considered one of the founding fathers of Europe and a protector of the Catholic Church.
