Castellum Hoge Woerd stands on the spot where a Roman fort was found. The current castellum, although given a modern look, has the size of the original. Inside is a museum, where you can see various Roman excavations that have been done in Leidsche Rijn. Definitely worth a visit: it revives the Roman era!
