Italian War Cemetery Hamburg-Öjendorf

I wasn't aware that there was a memorial for Nazi victims with Italian citizenship at the Öjendorfer Parkfriedhof!
In the post-war period, 5,849 Italian dead from all over North-West Germany and the Ruhr area were reburied in this memorial: dead from the labor camps, victims of the Neuengamme concentration camp and its satellite camps, and civilians.Further information:

The Italian War Cemetery Hamburg-Öjendorf (Italian Cimitero militare italiano d'onore di Amburgo - Öjendorf) is located in the large urban cemetery Öjendorf in Hamburg.
The mortal remains of 5,839 Italian nationals (prisoners of war, civilian internees, victims of the Neuengamme concentration camp and its satellite camps and forced laborers) rest here.
