This small hydroelectric power station with a capacity of 2x60 kW was built by the city of Loket in 1901-1904 to provide electricity to the city. In the 1960s it was considered uneconomical and shut down.

In 2006 HART-PIPE s.r.o. 2006 and started a complete renovation in the following year. The original Francis turbines from 1904 could be repaired, other parts of the technology were replaced with new modern elements. The conversion of the entire power plant was completed in 2009.
