Built in the late 15th and early 16th centuries as the largest late Gothic hall church in Saxony. The tower is 78 meters high and can be seen from afar.
A watchman family still lives on the bell tower.

The 78 meter high tower of St. Annen characterizes the silhouette of the mountain town in the Ore Mountains and makes the church its landmark. The St. Anne's Church is a real treasure, especially in terms of art history: it is considered one of the most important examples of late Gothic. The mountain altar, the gallery reliefs and the vault in the central nave are also worth admiring.
