From the shelter you have a magnificent view of the expanse of the Müritz. In every season many different birds can be observed here. It is most exciting in the autumn when countless cranes stop by the lakes.

The covered observation tower is on the banks of the Müritz from here you have a wonderful view of the water. The viewing platform can be reached via a long wooden walkway that goes through the reeds.
