The Tiefwarensee show garden is located in a scenic location on a peninsula on Lake Tiefwaren, opposite Waren's old town. It covers an area of more than 17,000 square meters.
At the center is a formally designed garden area, in which an extensive collection of subtropical and Mediterranean plants such as laurel, oranges, figs, palms, hibiscus and much more can be seen in the summer months, surrounded by magnificent summer flowers.
Other garden spaces include a perennial garden and a heather garden. Two display greenhouses display tropical and subtropical plant collections. Particularly worth mentioning is the cactus and succulent collection with around 1000 species, which is one of the largest in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
