The SADC Tribunal was a court and the highest political institution of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). It was housed in the Gymnasium building in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Although it has existed on paper since 1992, the members of the tribunal were only appointed during the SADC summit in 2005. On November 18, 2005, the tribunal was inaugurated and the members were sworn in by Peter Shivute, Chief Justice of Namibia at the Namibian Supreme Court.

The gymnasium gained international fame as the venue for the Gymnasium Conference. Between 2000 and 2010 it was used as a tribunal of the Southern African Development Community (SADC), the SADC Court of Justice.
