Hundertwasserhaus was designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, who died in February 2000. The Viennese artist is known throughout the world for his colorful paintings. Since 1983, he has also designed houses architecturally, the most famous being the "Hundertwasser-Wohnhaus" and the "Kunst-Haus-Wien" in Vienna. The house, whose foundation stone was laid in November 1990, incorporates the first bath Sodener Kurhaus, the house Bockenheimer, from the year 1722. 17 completely different apartments from 120 to 230 square meters are located in the house, which has a nine-storey tower 30 meters high. The rooms are spacious, often overlap and are equipped with parquet floors, some of which are interrupted by tiles. In addition, 650 square meters of floor space are still available for commercial premises.
