The Tomb of Ludovico Ariosto is kept in the hall on the first floor.
In the seventeenth century, following an intervention by Giovan Battista Aleotti, the clock tower and the marble portal were built, thus the building assumed its recent appearance. The grand staircase of the building is monumental, in marble, adorned with epigraphs and frescoes.
